I'm member number two. I just picked up a used P7M13 about 5 days ago, and I'm waiting for CFC to approve the transfer as well. I am very anxious to have it show up, and get it to the range.

There's been dozens of M13s hitting the market since April, all from Wolverine (I bought one last year). If they keep coming it is certainly going to impact their used value. Used to see them going used for $2200+. I don't think they'll command that for awhile. But, hey, you never know. The people who shelled out $800 for the refurb P7 PSPs a couple of years ago are doing well on the investment. Oddly, the M8 has become harder to acquire than the M13. Now, the wait begins for those $130 mags, eh? :p

2000$ pistol?? 130$ magazines?? Holy geez. I'll stick with my lesser expensive USP for now ;)

Seriously though, give us a nice range report with the usual pr0n pictures! :D

Will do, I will not keep this pistol unfired for any longer than it takes to get to the range. Although I am having a problem finding mags for it. Wolverine has some ordered, but they have been back ordered with no idea of an ETA. Oh well, I have a few other toys to play withy in the mean time, but damn, it's tough looking at a new toy and not being able to play with it!

Tell me about it: I have a stainless usp9 that I'm just dying to shoot... and this week-end is supposed to be really cold and cloudy. The forces of nature are conspiring against me! :(

... but I'm going anyway! :D

Got mine too

I got my P7M13 from Wolverine today! I am still waiting for my P7M8 Jubilee from Ronin (who is not returing my e-mails). My first impressions of the M13 are mixed:

Good:
- Fits my hand well
- Squeeze cocker not as difficult as I thought to engage (though we'll see at the range)
- Strong Ambidextrous mag release
- Sights seem VERY clear
- No question when the gun is cocked due to the visible dot at the back for pin position)
- includes a target shot at 15m of a 1 1/4" 5 shot grouping, I assume this was my test fire, it is all in german.

Bad
- Wanted more "stuff" with it. The kit includes the firearm, two magazines, instructions a cleaning rod, and a stir stick with a circle on the end to clean the gas cylinder. I was hoping for more accessories (though I'm not sure what)
- Its pretty heavy, with most of the weight carried in the grip. But it may contribute some stability at the range, who knows.
- Bigger than I thought it would be, possibly the double stack is adding bulk that won't be there in the M8
- Because of the above, makes a fairly large imprint for CCW carry in US states that allow it (still waiting on my course so its only vermont and Alaska right now).
- Cheapo plastic case considering the cost of the thing ($2,202.88 including tax and shipping)
- No warantee card, should I be worried?

Ugly
- Slide is a VERY different colour than the rest of the firearm (will post pics ASAP)
- There are several small shiny spots on the slide, like the gun is not new. could these be nicks from transport?
- Still need an ATT to take this thing out of the house

Chris,

My M13 also had more of a plum colour compared to the black of my M8. The finish on the P7s is not very robust, and wears off pretty easily compared to the USP series. I think you might like the M8 better (I do). The grip is more proportionate to the rest of the gun.

I think you should also have received a "universal tool" to remove the firing pin assy...no?... and possibly a test target?? At least one made with a "9mm" pencil
