My M13 also had more of a plum colour compared to the black of my M8. The finish on the P7s is not very robust, and wears off pretty easily compared to the USP series. I think you might like the M8 better (I do). The grip is more proportionate to the rest of the gun.

That's OK, so was Petra...CanFire said:Too bad it's the fat one though huh?![]()

From the research I've done if you're going to do IPSC or IDPA you really need something 10+1.RevolverRodger said:The P7M8 kicks the P7M13![]()

Ideally I'd like a P7M8 with a +2 extended mag. Would it be possible to machine something?

Agreed. They're fine for IDPA with its lower round count, but high-volume training will give your third-degree burns if you aren't careful!UncleWalther said:Get ready to burn your fingers if you shoot IPSC with a P7.

Yeah I'm not shooting EITHER at the moment, but I think IDPA is more my style... I think it teaches you instincts (particularilt around cover) that you don't get in the IPSC.UncleWalther said:Get ready to burn your fingers if you shoot IPSC with a P7. These buggers got HOT as hell when you pump lots of rounds through them quickly. Last year I put 100 rounds through an M8 in about 10 minutes, and got a nice blister for my trouble![]()
