I hope so! I thought it would be a joke but saw enough posts that I thought were serious. Maybe I'm wrong and in fact I'm being gullible in a different way. If so, point taken.

I would be entirely in favour of a Sasquatch defence thread like the dino ones, for the record.
 
One October in the early 1970`s my buddy and I canoed around Harrison Lake and we found two sandbars at a creek mouth that were covered with hominid footprints some of which measured 17" long 9" across the base of the toes and 5" widest part of the heel with a 5' gate. We took super 8 video but the contrast sucked. We tried to outline the prints with some white flour sprinkled around them but it just made the contrast worse.
 
Im at a trade show today and guess whos walking down the isle with a skill t shirt with a saw in his hands.ill take a pic and post if hes there tomorrow.i guess even bigfoot has to make a buck
 
Not sure if I posted this before- a few years ago my hunting partner and I were walking out of the woods after spending two weeks deer hunting and this 6'6" huge naked hairy creature jumped out of the woods screaming at us! Not a lie. I yelled at my kid brother to stop fooling around. What did the army do to this poor guy, he was always special but that was kinda weird haha. Damn Pongo.
 
It is no joke friends.

New species are being discovered and studied everyday.

Down side to this is that many go instinct at the same rate.

Are they out there? Come along on one of my studies out in the wilderness , if you are up for it and are brave enough to be in their territory it is an experience you will not soon forget and some wish to never repeat.

Due to the fires in Saskatchewan this year my expeditions could not happen as I could not get access to the areas they frequent the most , next year will hopefully be better although the fires may have driven them further south and closer to where I dwell but we will have to wait until spring and activity picks up again.

The truth IS out there , IF you are willing to look.
 
Forgot to mention , they are masters of concealment.

Thousands of years of evolution have turned them into the perfect invisible man so to say.

Heck , I have just about stepped on deer in the bush as have many others as well as not seeing them right in front of you , now take a creature with that ability PLUS a higher intelligence and you have something almost impossible to find.
 
Highly improbable that they exist, IMO for several reasons:
1) it would take a fairly large population of them to continue to exist across the vast areas they have been "spotted" in across Canada, the USA, Russia, etc
2) it would take males & females breeding but no offspring are ever spotted, ever.
3) assuming a long lifespan for a primate (say 50 yrs) eventually carcasses would be found somewhere
4) with everyone holding a high resolution camera in their pocket (Phone) all the pictures are blurry...hmm
5) trail cam pics of everything but Bigfoot's

BUT I have seen some big hairy men with low intelligence levels that stunk to high heaven with large feet at the local Walmart.
And they wouldn't have any trouble finding a suitable mate there to copulate with and continue the species.
Perhaps that is why they were there? Maybe we are looking in the wrong places

And a Sasquatch joke.....

A) Some people allege to have seen a Sasquatch.

Well said. Sure some new species are still being discovered, but they aren't this large and seen so often but never clearly photographed. Love how the believers will just tell you how great they are at hiding to somehow explain all the reasons why it isn't possible in this day and age.
Some people have a financial interest in keeping this fantasy alive, so they keep spreading rumours. I can at least understand that motivation. The rest, I can't figure out for the life of me. Perhaps they just can't think rationally.

What are the chances of harvesting one?

How about the Coelacanth ?

Sure I have seen photo evidence of large white tail bucks even mounts, are they real or fakes? ;)

Open the mind , they are out there , one day the proof will stare you in the eye , it has me, and i am a better person for it.

They exist.
Nov 1998 , tamahi crossing, chilliwack river BC
What ran across the road in front of us ..... A long haired, brown black bear that was circus trained to walk/run on 2 legs? I don't think so
My youngest son's uncle Ian (on his mom's side) was drivin , nearly crashed and will not go fishin, camping ect since that day.
Even folks who spend lots of time in the woods and rural areas do not see common critters.
Bobcats, wolverines, lynx, martin, fischer, badgers and a whole slough of other critters that exist in good numbers, yet most folks rarely lay eyes on one.

Everyone sees them run across the road, but none ever get hit by cars?
Everything else gets hit by cars, but no Sasquatches? hmmmm?

Coelocanths have been caught and examined, quite a few of them infact

B+C whitetails are shot every year
 
Who would've thought these people existed? It would be arrogant to think we've identified all living species. We're not even done with the common ones. If a Bigfoot species does exist, they're likely intelligent, highly aware and wish to be left alone.

The odds are slim, but it happens often enough and there are enough pictures and clear video of them that you can't deny they exist.
Strangely, not so with Bigfoot. What are the odds of that? Its just not possible in this day and age. The are supposedly seen all over the world, yet no proof exists after all the years of people actually focusing on finding proof.

There is only one explanation for that.............

Lots of people believe in lots of things that aren't real. I don't know why, my mind doesn't work that way. But your not alone and it does no harm to anyone so have at it. I truly can't wait to be proven wrong, but I'm going to hold my breath.
