Anybody got a 1-A in 303 yet?

None at my door yet either. :( I am leaving for a moose and elk hunt tomorrow, so will not be here to unwrap it...oh well, wifey will be at home to receive it, and that is all that is important at this time. Regards, Eagleye.

Ruger 1

Got mine on last thursday and mounted a K6 Weaver on it, and headed out to break the barrel in with a box of 150 gr Federal. The gun shows lots of promise and shot a consistent 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch three shot groups at 100 yds. Looking forward to some handloading experimentation when time permits.

slooowly opened the PO box and peered in, to see a PARCEL PICKUP CARD!!!!! :D

too bad it was for my wife's Disney Movie Club CRAP :( :(

Mine showed up this morning.
Nice wood and a bonus the best trigger I have ever felt on a "factory" #1 Ruger.

Thanks Clay for effort put forward in making it all happen!
Whats next on the #1 wish list perhaps a Roberts?

Now if Clay would give me a solid number on how many were made, I'll then decide if it gets shot or not.

No,I can't. As an 'unlimited' run, the number is not finite(actually, its usually not even with limited runs, they like to sneak a few 'overruns' in)
My sales rep figures it could hit 450 by the time they fill existing orders which would likely be the end of it. One can always buy a second one as a shooter ;)

That wood looks sweet from the pics! Still nothing in the province everyone loves to hate...:p
Hopefully this week I'll get a sniff. Got box of factor Winchester 180 grainers & Leica 1.75-6X to try at the range. Hopefully a Bull Moose tag to fill this Fall...
Naturally, I'll shoot the perdy one 1st!:D
