NcStar is pretty much the econo-brand in scope. lots of them on ebay etc... remember you get what you pay for, esp with optics.

Don't get me wrong, I'd probably buy it and stick it on a 22 or something, but don't expect high end quality

I have an NcStar red dot that has held up well on my grizzly 12ga but I wouldn't bat an eye if it stopped hollding anything slose to zero, or just stopped working all together

I'm thinking that simpler is going to be better on an el-cheapo scope. Fewer things to break.
