Anybody hunting in Canada with 9.3x62

I saw the add.... I thought about it... but I’m like you I like them to work right away!! Maybe that is why I like my Ruger no1, they always work, never jam!! It would be interesting to know from the next owner what is was the problem!!

I guess I look at this pic & just want the thing to work without question, without monkeying around with it...



And YES it would be cool if the new owner chimed in at some point & told us if he got it running!

I've been hunting with a custom Mauser 98 in 9.3x62 for a few years now, taken a few animals with it from deer to moose and nobody walks away. 286 gr Nosler partition does the job nicely

Yup shot my moose this year with my ruger African in 9.3x62 and 275 yds

I totally agree... But mine jammed on the first range trip with 2 types of ammo... My gunsmith said to try other brands of ammunition, but I didn't want to soak hundreds of more $$$'s in various types of ammo to try and trouble shoot it...



That's what I was thinking, the 9.3x62 is a cool cartridge & the reason I tried a BAR for the first (and last) time...



Sadly, it was a short visit and I sold it with disclosure on my birthday after its unsuccessful inaugural range trip... Ad is still up in the EE if you are curious...

She sure was pretty to look at though... Sigh

saw the ad and you will come with something else. maybe just the fact that some model of semi auto and 9.3x62 are not working well not your fault you tried.
