Hey guys. I'm wondering if any of you fine gentlemen know where one can get a Klinker Plinker in Canada. I know they were imported some time ago, but as of now, there are none I can find, on the EE, #######, townpost etc.

I'm getting pretty desperate! It is literally my dream firearm (I know it's just a 10/22, but what can I say, I'm a sucker for the 74u...), and I'm at a loss as to where to find one. I know they're non-restricted in Canada, but the only sellers online at the moment are the americans. Going through IRG would be super costly, and may not even work, thanks to ITAR. Hmmmm. Thoughts??

That's what I know, but I was just wondering if anyone knew any place I might be able to find one. I've called their office number and haven't heard back from them. I know that they aren't making them, but had hoped they at least hadn't gone out of business. Would be a shame if there was no way at all to get one. I've been searching for one of these for close to 4 or 5 years and would at this point pay a premium. I'm not sure why I want one so bad, but I know they're one of my favorites !

I never should have sold mine, it was so dang cool!

^^Missing the point, which is..Freedom Of Choice. We all have different tastes, I find it's best in this sh1ty country to support and encourage our kind, at least while we can before the hallmonitors come for us.

Nobody wanted to buy them 10 years ago. Now everybody wants to buy what they can't have. Trust me, it's a piece of #### and instead of drooling over getting one, we would be reading a thread as how ####ty they are.

.

If it's a kit and / or an existing platform, make one..? I imported a dragunov stock years back for a (stalled) project.

Import the parts and make or convert your own.

Why do you think it is a price of ####? I like mine a lot. The kit is well made and comes with a match barrel. They can be tuned to any standard a 10/22 can, from basement level to penthouse. I find nothing wrong with the kit and it’s hoot to shoot. I really don’t know where you coming from unless you don’t like 10/22’s in general.

I agree with the above. Built mine a few years back. It is one of my most reliable 10/22's. It's also very accurate. Have taught lots of kids on it as the stock is short. They love it. Shoots just about any ammo reliably. The kit is solid. One screw came loose and I had to replace it. Other than that, it is a solid .22. What is not to like?

I don't know what he's getting at either, I love mine and it's as accurate as any of my other plinker 10/22's. Maybe he just doesn't like the "sheet metal" chassis that comes with the kit. I know I was iffy when I first saw it.

Wouldn't be too hard and actually not a bad idea. You would just need to source a barrel, muzzle device, sights, furniture and the folding stock. Rest of kit looks like it could easily be machined. If I had the time and funds...
