I'd just like to try them. We haven't used them yet in his rifle, but we're hoping to find something that works well at 600+ yards without breaking the bank on a large volume basis.
The friend that is in need of the bullets is trying to find something that is a bit better in the wind than the 85gr Sierra SP he's currently using, but that is affordable at the same time (things are REALLY slow with his job right now, and there's not a lot of excess floating around, if you know what I mean).
He's running a .243 Win with 10" twist tube, so the 105gr AM probably won't stabilize (not to mention that it's tough to find any). The 95gr Berger isn't exactly cheap. The 95gr MK was designed for 10" twist tubes, and it has a fairly high BC (.480 at the top end). Sierra MK's are also fairly affordable, probably somewhere in between the AM and the Bergers, so it seems like they are the way to go. They're also very accurate in every gun that I've used them in.
Now I just need to find some for him!
