Just wondering if there is anywhere to get a hardwood m14 stock without the full auto cutout here in Canada. Not looking for choowood but maybe walnut or anything along those lines.
Also failing that can we order direct form Springfiled if we wanted a black stock m14 synthetic stock? Has anyone ordered from them direct? Is there a better route to go through other than dealing with the factory? What your experience been like?
From time to time Ive seen stocks on ebay. Do they get by customs? Would I be breaking laws by ordering one? Ive ordered stuff in the past through ebay and its been 50/50 some does some doesnt depends really which way the wind is blowing that way it seems. The stuff I ordered havent been stocks. But things like knives or a holster. Nothing of great value in case it it lost in transit. Im aware that items such as magazines or bolts are a nono as far as crossing borders but would a stock be alright? Id be happiest to buy something locally if you are a dealer or a private seller feel free to pm me. Looking forward to your replies.

Freds stocks, or Boyds.

Google and have at it.

Under $100 and you're fine, so you may have to wait for a sale or an unfinished unit.

I just typed all this, and then see that you have an ad in the EE already for a Boyds stock. So you obviously do know how to get them.

You can get 5rnd mags out of the states no problem but you'll definitely get charged duty. Higher capacity mags have to be pinned to 5 rounds which no USA vendor that I know of will bother doing that for you.
Boyd's sell walnut stocks without cutouts but you'll have to wait for a sale cause regular price is just over $100.00 - the max limit for export (go figure).

Freds doesn't ship to Canada. Boyd's are nice but you'll have to wait for a sale or unfinished ones. I may be able to help you out, let me check the war room... Is it for a Chinese rifle?

Treeline ships to Canada. You will have to pay customs charges, around $30. They are sold out most of the time so you will need to check often.
