Anybody know why this won't sight in.....

When I owned that gun it shot just fine. Probably the scope is low on adjustment fluid, that model uses a lot of it.

Is adjustment fluid available in different viscosity's? Here in the North, with cooler winter weather, we have a problem with the parallax bearings freezing...
 
Sorry Chris, I should have mentioned that of course - as you rightly remind me. This time of year you need the SAE 12 adjustment fluid, for temperatures below and just above freezing. Above about 10 degrees C, you need SAE 42 fluid, and if you are in a really hot spot you should probably go to SAE 72 to be safe. Thanks for the reminder.

The parallax bearings in those older scopes have been replaced by a set of titanium frictionless discs in the newer scopes, and they are even more finicky when it comes to the correct fluid.
