Anybody load for .50 Remington?

My experience with the rolling block rifles in 50-70 is that the chambers seem a bit large and I got best results using a Loverin style bullet rather than the conventional government style. The Lowerin bullet has several narrow grooves and carries its diameter farther forward. This allows a longer functional overall length and brings the slug closer to the rifling.
The other comment is the general one for BP cartridges and that is to use a lube of bees wax and animal fat. SPG is one, Paul Mathews is another or you can make your own from lard and bees wax 50-50.

I think I worded the first post poorly - I was wondering if anyone loaded the 50 Remington Army/Navy cartridge for the Remington rolling block pistols.
Although I did make some of that homemade BP lube last year. Turned out ok. Haven't refrigerated it and it hasn't gone funky yet
