Ok first... this is in no way an attack on Questar as they have been nothing but excellence in their service.

But... I ordered a LMT AR from them and they were told by LMT that they were going to ship end of April... no biggie.. I can wait...

So end of April comes, now they tell Questar, for sure third to fourth week of May...

Im just curious but has LMT done this before? (not only with Questar but stateside as well)

Also I heard they supply to the military often... does the Military damage a lot of ARs on a constant basis?

Ohh yeah and who else is waiting on theirs :D

I can wait... and once again thanx to the guys at Questar for the legwork and all that.

The guns should be here long before end of May... what we told you was that LMT was supposed to ship by 3rd week of April which would have put them in Canada by end of April. They then pushed their ship date back meaning we would get the guns 3 to 4 weeks late (be here by 15th to 21st of May).

We actually expect them earlier than that but don't like to under estimate :)

Besides... these are the best guns in the market right now (my personal opinion) and well worth the extra couple weeks wait.

To answer your original question... yes LMT has done this before... about a year ago they pushed deliveries of BCG's back by 4 months in order to switch production/shipments to fill military orders.

Hello,

I too have ordered one from QUESTAR.

You should know, that when firearms are shipped from the US, dates are approximative.

3-4 more weeks I can live with that.

Thanks.

Hmm ... a little impatient are we Luke?:slap:
If you had ordered it last year you would have it now.;) (Did I say that out loud?)

Mark (Questar) has always provided me with first class service.:) He is providing you with the same courtesy and promptly replied to your email with an adequate explanation of the delay. Now he's given you the same courtesy by answering here. Good on you Mark. Bad Luke for being overly impatient.

He's looking for an LMT. I told him we already got one. (snicker)
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elder berrries.
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

Recently ordered an LMT upper from Questar and was told 3-4 weeks. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived in just 2 weeks. Very happy with their service and the product.

Yup, waiting on my LMT too...but the way I see it it'll just be that much sweeter when it gets here..Besides it gives me more time to latch on to all my extra goodies. As for Glen Valour's comments re Gamer...the guys got a right to ask a simple question without being made to feel like he's stepping on someone's toes....his money, not yours.

lol@Rob...

I think you missed the first line of my first post :D

Im not ranting as to 'why is this happening to me'... cause I know there are delays, and in this case well out of their hands.

Im just curious of other peoples experiance (with LMT not Questar both Canadian and US) , and who also ordered one that is all.

Yes, the asking of the question was appropriate as long as the reader is aware that the questions are only regarding LMT and their delivery practices and not of Questar. After reading the original post IMO there is some ambiguity as to the nature of the delay that, Mark in his post, has made clear.

Further, what you don't know is that TheGamer### had previously been in contact via email and had already received an answer indicating the delay before he posted this. ergo the :slap:
He has now clarified his position.

To be clear... No question was directed @Questar in any way. These question were only brought up because of LMT. I am happy with Questar. I love Questar... I want to have little babies I can name Questar (well no not really but point made)

***EDIT***
Yes Questar let me know this happened before with LMT, where LMT dropped the ball with their dealing with Questar, so I was fully aware of that and that is not what I am asking in this post
***EDIT***

If I slandered Questars Rep in any way I apologize. It was not the intent of the post. I just didnt want to post "blah blah blah LMT screwed up and I dont have my gun" as I dont think anybody else imports them other than Questar, and I was just showing that in fact they have been supporting (Questar not LMT lol)

Now back to the original question(s) Other than what I learned from Questar, has LMT done this before with others? Im just guessing but military contracts take priority since they pay the big bucks, and selling to Canadians takes the back burner? Once again Stateside as well.

As well as does the Military go through a lot of ARs?

And off course IM just waiting to hear people waiting as well so we can start a little ar chant going or something :D (what'd you order as well @Jobbass/Tommy Gunn)

There is no question/s in this post directed at Questar at all. Everything asked is about LMT directly, and once again the guy's got a right to ask....just as you do when you put your time and coin out there for product.

Gamer, I've got a STD16 with SOPMOD stock ordered.
