So having trouble with getting the safety in this Maccabee slr with the hyperfire. Best i can tell the only way i could do it would be to grind on the portion of the trigger that the safety locks against. Pretty sure that would render the safety useless. Has anybody got a way around this that i am missing?

you'll have to give your Dremel a workout. It can be done but will take some work to the trigger box. I was told by MDI that they would be selling trigger boxes on their own at some point so I wasn't to shy about cutting mine up.
You have to remove material from the top and the front of the trigger box.
The top for room for the hammer and additional Hiperfire springs and the front so there is room for the hammer to come forward for install. You might also have to shave a flat spot onto the safety to be able to install the safety.
