Anybody reloading .32 S&W Long on a Hornady AP?

I recently acquired a Hornady AP progressive press and am loading .223 Rem on it. It's working great.

I am currently loading .32 S&W Long wadcutter on a single stage and I wondered if anyone has used their Hornady progressive for that combination. In particular, is the pistol rotor capable of delivering 1.6 or 1.8 grains of Titegroup reliably? Any other particular issues for this caliber and press combination?

I load that round on a single also. I do use a rcbs uniflow powder measure for it. I find that most of the time it will be close enough for some but I always set it for .1-.2 gr less and trickle up. This should always be done for target rounds IMO.
 
Thanks for the reply. It does get a little tedious sometimes when loading 2 or 3 hundred rounds but I agree, consistency is probably better.

It's a fickle little round.
 
i load 32 s&wl on my 550 with 1.4/ 2.0 depending on the powder with no probs. also some buddys that have the lnl & no probs there that i heard of. hhbwc 90 2.0 231/ 1.4 wst/ 1.65 be.
 
A fickle round it is. It's kinda small to handle with big fingers. It also gets tiring doing hundreds at a time. I find that if it is done in stages it is much better. Ie size brass one day. Prime the next ect. I only have a single stage press and load all my pistol ammo this way.
