Haven't played with mine much at all yet but getting ready to start working with it, will be used for targets with the odd yote thrown in, I'm leaning towards the 87gr Vmax but I also have a few boxes of 105gr A-max, what bullets and powders are you guys using, I'm thinking imr4831, H414 or RL19.

Any of those powder should work with your 243AI. I've been using H-4350 with 90gr lapuas and 80gr ttsx with good speed and accuracy out of my well used rifle. Use 6mm rem data and work up as the case capacity are really close.
I have a few rifles built for 1000m target shoots in this caliber. The following load is good in my rifles BUT NOT PROVEN IN YOURS, (BACK OFF 10% AND PROCEED CAREFULLY) safety first. H4350 - 42grs, Bullet berger 105 VLD or Sierra 107 Match.
