Hello this is the first time I have posted anything.
I am just curious as to if anybody has tried this new scope mount.
I know that this batch is a small one, so I ordered three of them.
The first one is going on my Polytech.
Now I have to buy two more M14!
My plan is to make some videos with me and my brother hunting with this new scope mont.
I live on the Queen Charlotte islands(Haida Gwii) so the first one will be me hunting raccoons .
This spring will be mounted goat fall will be moose and deer hunting.
Plus some wolves.
Thought it might be fun to make some videos with a bunch of Indians hunting with M14. It first one is popular I have a friend in fim school that will produce professional quality DVDs .
Just curious has anyone tried CASM mount yet.

here is a link with a litttle info on it....cant find any other reveiws http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=536361

I am really interested in how it holds a zero after a couple hundred rounds through it....it looks nice....keep us informed as to how hard it is to mount, over all appearance and performance etc , cost and how long does it take to get one..
Did you buy yours from m-14.ca ?
Thanks

It looks solid and it's Canadian made which is a nice bonus but I don't like losing the rear sight. Either way enjoy your purchase and let us know how it holds up, literally holding the zero.

I have one, i haven't been able to test it yet, i am a bit skepticle whether it will hold up or not, only one way to find out i quess....lots of haters out there, most are with the m14doc group, time will tell if this mount will hold up, with a few modifications i think the mount would be great, if it was steel and if it had a mounting point at the stripper clip guide or the side receiver mount, i might add a stripper clip guide mount later on....

Haters ?
That's insulting.
There are those of us who do not believe it will hold up the m14 recoil.
And some of us have designed a simiilar mount, last sumeer when we posted about it... And it failed testing.
Buy it , try it and let us know.

I hope they work good, I don't mind losing the sight.
When I teach kids to shoot it is with sight.
When I teach them to hunt it is with scopes and read dots.
For me it is too slow to line up the sights.
The PolyTeck I have now will not have any sights any way.
For that matter no flash suppressor, or muzzel brake.
I might be wrong but with the sage stock should mack thing easier to clean up.
