Is anyone using it in a smooth bore? How were your results? Are there any commercial sources for this slug? I don't cast and have little time or energy to add another hobby to my list of things to do.

Thanks,
Mark

Yes I have used them
rem 870 Ic Barrel with Iron sights

3 out of 5 breaking a clay target set on the berm at 100yds (the miss very close)

win AA hulls with a light load (App 3 dram)

I use them, and cast them. Fed. plastic 2.75'' hulls with Blue Dot, or SR4756, or Win AA withSR 4756. Work great in my rifled 870, and are minute of milkjug with my Mav. 88 cyl. bore. Also my bear medicine, not that I've actually had to use them yet.A 1 1/4 slug with this flat nose just has to do some damage.I know it kills deer.

I have the mold for both 12 and 20. I use pure lead and they make a heck of good round within limits. I would not shot them beyond 100 yards.

I have them going about 1300 fps.

On a bear, shot broadside, it flipped it onto it's back and even though it was a bad shot I found the bear under 100 feet away. A hole in one side and guts hanging out the other.
