Anybody watched Sons of Guns yesterday ?

The show feature Paul Jr from Paul Jr Designs (Orange County choppers) who were invited to visit the Red Jacket firearms plant.

In the middle of the show, Paul Jr asks Will to build a gift for his brother Mikey.......

What Will brings to Mikey at the end of the show is what looks like a CSA VZ58 in fire truck red with custom charging handle muzzle break and black railed handguards... The gun looked too ''red rifle'' to my taste but kind of made me remember the first PE90's taht came in (Bluestar and RedDevil)..

I'm trying to find a picture of the gun but cannot find one.....

Only watch the show for the wow factor. Wow some people will do anything to be on tv, and yes i think it`s an ugly gun. Painted up all red like that it couldn`t be mistaken for a real firearm, must be a replica.

IIRC , they do quite a bit of Saiga-related work there ?....

Assuming I'm not confusing shows , the daughter sold a .410 Saiga to a policewoman looking for a "home-defence" shotgun......

Red Jacket has an unhealthy hard-on for Saigas.
I won't be surprised if someone wants a reliable pump action shotgun and they mod a saiga into a pump action instead of selling them a remmy or mossberg.

These guys are pathetic. I've watched them out of morbid curiosity.
In one episod they were trying to remove the base plug from a mortar and they used a 36" pipe wrench backwards.

The thing that I was most impressed with was that AR in 458 socom. That cartridge dropped two hogs on that episode like it was a magic deathray. Nothing else has ever impressed me on that show.

That show is a dismal atempt to be something interesting. The concept is good but that arrogent, wannabe, 5 minutes of fame, nut case, and his daughter were only worth watching twice. Maybe discovery will come up with a suns of guns anywhere else, and get rid of that guy. Can ya tell I don't like him.
