Anyone able to help me find a Kimber 84M Classic Stainless...?

Try Korth's for availability. They are the Canadian distributor now for Kimber...

Thank you sir, Rembo shot me a PM about one that was tempting him, found and purchased, all set up. Saved Rembo from the financial burden, seemed the right thing to do.

glad to help out:D...and very glad when someone removes a temptation for me....'cuz we all knw how weak I am when it comes to nice rifles....;)

I picked it up yesterday, this is a nice little rifle, tiny action on it, almost reminiscent of a CZ527, but it handles full size cartridges like a champ and appears strong a vault. It's ALL steel, with a full steel floorplate, trigger guard, and even as a "screw you Remington Titanium" it has a machined stainless steel grip cap too. A lot more gun for your dollar than the Remington Titanium, for the same weight. It's so light I nearly tossed it when I picked it up after packing my 10lb .375 H&H for the last while hunting.

haha! Your right there TooMany, I do know where one is. I was refering to the stainless/walnut package. Trust me I almost bought yours a few times, but I ended up buying another 338 that was more in my price range. The Kimbers are nice guns for sure but I for one, have a hard time spending the $ on one.

I'm waiting for the 84L in the Montana version to arrive up here...might see them this fall..but maybe not....one of the new 84L's (a stretched 84) in 30-06 would be all a man ever needs for a lightweight hunting rig, I'd even take a 270 seeing as how they aren't chambering the 280.......top it with a 2.5-8X Leupy and you'd be set.....way more rifle than a Rem Ti......

yup, a 6.5lb stainless, CRF in 30-06 or 280 with a nice piece of walnut on it would be about all I would really ever need. If it comes I would buy it:D

The Kimber is the least expensive 338 that I have.:) Also the lightest and I appreciate it more each time I shoot it. A real joy to shoot. If it does not sell it will be my goto rifle for the high country this season.

Here you go pitched, you might even recognize the carpet! :D It's a fantastic rifle, basically a better M70 CRF to sum it up.

An 84L stainless would be a great, great gun. Happy with the .308 though, should work for me. Still amazed at the weight, as it seems like "a lot more gun", sturdy, when looking at it then you pick it up and it's a feather.

It came to me in a flash I needed one of these, when I went to wholesale and handled a new M70 stainless classic. Was good, but not exactly what I was after. I made a list of features I wanted, hoping to get 75% of them, and the 84M checks every one, even beating the weight goal by a pound;

-3 position M70 style wing safety
-Stainless
-Walnut
-Steel Floorplate
-Fully adjustable trigger
-Straight, extended bolt handle
-CZ style push to clear bolt/stop release
-6.5lbs

Finally, there's something unnerving about this rifle, something unnatural. It doesn't appear to need work. I work on guns quite a bit, build them, tinker, and always find something that needs to be tweaked. I'm struggling with this one... right out of the box the feed ramp's polished to a shine, the mag rails are smooth as can be, the bolt lugs bear 100% evenly, it's pillar and glass bedded, it's free floated perfectly... this could drive a guy nuts. Now lets hope I've not jinxed myself and the accuracy's as good as the features indicate it should be. Waiting on my Talley LW rings...
