Anyone able to help me find a Kimber 84M Classic Stainless...?

Very nice looking piece of wood on that rifle. I'm eagerly awaiting range results. Been tempted to go with one myself, but so far have always talked myself out of one.

An 84L stainless would be a great, great gun. Happy with the .308 though, should work for me. Still amazed at the weight, as it seems like "a lot more gun", sturdy, when looking at it then you pick it up and it's a feather.

It came to me in a flash I needed one of these, when I went to wholesale and handled a new M70 stainless classic. Was good, but not exactly what I was after. I made a list of features I wanted, hoping to get 75% of them, and the 84M checks every one, even beating the weight goal by a pound;

-3 position M70 style wing safety
-Stainless
-Walnut
-Steel Floorplate
-Fully adjustable trigger
-Straight, extended bolt handle
-CZ style push to clear bolt/stop release
-6.5lbs

Finally, there's something unnerving about this rifle, something unnatural. It doesn't appear to need work. I work on guns quite a bit, build them, tinker, and always find something that needs to be tweaked. I'm struggling with this one... right out of the box the feed ramp's polished to a shine, the mag rails are smooth as can be, the bolt lugs bear 100% evenly, it's pillar and glass bedded, it's free floated perfectly... this could drive a guy nuts. Now lets hope I've not jinxed myself and the accuracy's as good as the features indicate it should be. Waiting on my Talley LW rings...

dang it.:cool:..now I really wish I'd bought it....:D..did P&D get in anymore of them?...maybe a 270?

That is a nice looking piece....
Rick, I don't think they offer the long actions in stainless/walnut. You can get a Montana easily enough. The Montana is more money as well...go figure:confused:

The Classic Stainless also comes in 3 WSM chamberings. The 84L doesn't have anything in stainless yet.

...would you believe it, GP Wholesale had NO .308 Win Brass! I could have my pick of .218 Bee, .221 Fireball, .325 WSM, 8mm Remington Magnum... and no .308. Still thinking about a Leupold 2-7x33 Ultralight for these... mounted in my low Talleys, or better yet X Low, would be a sweet setup. Will have to wear my 3-9x40 VXI in the meantime.
