anyone back from ontario 18 b yet?

That's how I feel about 18a. Were the natives shooting them in june there also? We saw tons of bears how about your group? Sorry to hear that you had the same luck as us.

A local guy in Nakina told us that a local native guy has shot 48 moose since July in the area we were hunting. No big surprise we didn't see one. I guess next year we will be taking a plane ride to get away from the road acess poachers. And the MNR wonders why moose numbers are down?

Returned from 18B - no luck the 3rd week of the muzzle loader season. We've been there a number of years but really looking at something different for next year. I know last year we went for the first week of the ML season and saw a number of locations where moose had been taken along the tracks before the season even opened.

We came back from WMU29, no tag for bow season. Going to town for supplies we asked 3 kids (with guns) standing on the road if they needed help? They just shot a spoon bull during the bow season with a rifle and when we questioned them one pointed to his chest and said, INDIAN! They were around 10-13 years old? I guess in the eyes of the MNR we hunters are taking tooooooo many moose so that is why we are being cut back on tags each year???????

My father-in-laws party was shut out in that area last week. A buddy and his group were shut out in WMU 16 as well. Temps were too high they said. A long way to travel to catch a few fish...
