They are listed as "High Capacity Mags" on their site and require special permits. I was going to place an order with Brownells short for a few things.
According to Brownells website, magazines over 10 rounds require export permits, and can be exported only to military or law enforcement customers.
Magazines up to 10 rounds are gun parts and are subject to the rules for not specifically regulated items. So, Ruger factory 10 shot magazines would be OK for export, up to the $100 at wholesale limit.
I've heard there was problem with some CZ V-22's having inconsistent chamber diameters. However, I'll bet most of its problems can be attributed to using the wrong ammo and to the poor quality 10rd CZ factory mags.
If Questar is importing BDM's Ciener mags, maybe they will also import BDM's V-22 mags? I'm sure the BDM mags would improve the V-22's performance (and reputation).
I haven't had any problems with my V-22 since I started using hyper velocity ammo instead of standard velocity stuff. This upper is also more accurate than I expected.
The V-22 upper is total shyte, I gave one it has never worked properly, it had to be modified to fit on an AR lower for frig sakes, the mounting holes were in the wrong place and oblong.
Sorry to learn you had problems with your CZ V-22. Granted, some of the V-22 production runs were made better than others, but I don't think it's fair to say they're all shyte. I know mine isn't.
