Anyone carry a Keymod or free float for an AR10?

Compatible with: S&W M&P10, DPMS, & Knights Armament SR-25

August 2009 changed the height of the top rail on the LR308 upper receiver. To properly match your receiver height, measure the distance from the barrel's centerline to the top of the receiver rail.
PRE August 2009 model is 1.313"
POST August 2009 model is 1.253"

Do you have a Windham AR-10? The above stuff only applies to a DPMS as far as I know. If your's uses a DPMS pattern barrel nut then the KA forend should work.

Thats all i know:

Our .308 has AR10 rail height and DPMS spec barrel nuts. The bbl nut thread is 1 7/16” – 16UN. The thickness behind the charging handle is about .240”

i was gonna say brownells, coz they ususally have everything. BUt looking at their website last night, it was slim picking

Why are you selling it? Seems silly to sell it just because you can't find as many accessories in stock for it. Try having a little patience, you can still use it and I'm sure the forend that came on it isn't so bad it MUST be changed out immediately.

You want to turn your AR-10 into a pistol? Or just the forend? The forend will be very easy but will require you to order the parts and wait a week or two.
If you have no patience you are living in the wrong country to be a gunnut. Even the retailers that do carry stuff for rifles don't usually stock parts for the AR-10, they just aren't as popular because a lot of guys can't afford to feed them.
Did you contact Tier One to see what they can get for you?
You may be better off with an AR-15 instead of the AR-10 if you want to do lots of changes to it. Either that or learn a little patience and order the stuff you want and wait for it.
What you want can be done but you can't just walk into a shop and walk out with the parts.

Fixed it for you.
For some reason I don't mind restricted AR-15's but I don't want an AR-10 since i can have M14's

the difference is like.....shat and shinola

The difference is that one is pure awesomeness and the other is just a cool non restricted semi auto.
Unless you're talking about a Springfield (a real M14) in which case by the time you spend the money needed to make it shoot as well as an AR-10 you've spent more than twice as much money.
To each their own though, I've owned both and to me the AR-10 is a much better rifle other than the restricted classification.
