I just picked up a Mab type F handgun from an estate. Google gave some basic info it but I was wondering how common are they in Canada.
It looks like this one in the pic I found on google. Its a model one in 22lr with the 173mm barrel and just one lever.

They seem to be more common in the longer barrel lengths. I have only seen three (mine included) here on Gunnutz and they were all type 2.

I have a 155mm round barreled Type I serial in the 600 range, that a friend gave to me in pieces, with a crackediin-half firing pin.
Luckily I have a few gunsmith friends. Re-making a firing was a long chore.

Ed Buffaloe was happy to get some pictures of the pieces.

I looked it up in the registry data. There are only about 100 Model F, four of which are prohibited and only two with the same length barrel as mine.

If anyone has a 6 inch barrel kicking around I would like to reclassify mine to save it from the furnace.
