Anyone converted .40 P226 Sig to 9mm?

I see that a few of the XD guys have done this with success. Wondering if anyone with a .40 Sig has tried a Barsto drop in 9mm barrel, and how did it work.
Like other said, you need a new slide. However, you can convert to .357 SIG with just a barrel swap.

Reason I'm asking is it clearly states on Barsto and EFK's websote that you can and don't need a new top in. Plus, .40 mags supposedly work most of the time.

I just wanted confirmation from someone with a Sig that has. I'll try the Sigforum and see what those boys say.

From Barsto:
9mm for 40/357 firearms
For Sig firearms the 229,226,2340. You only need to change the barrel and most of the time you can use the 40/357 magazines. On the 239 you only change the barrel and can use the 40 but not the 357 sig mags. On all these you can get factory 9mm mags for those.
No spring changes needed. The breech face is fine and the extractor on these type of firearms springs over far enough to catch the case head and extract reliably.

On Glock firearms you can convert all of there 40/357 firearms to 9mm and do not need a spring change and usually do not need to change to a 9mm mag. Glock also has 9mm mags that fit the 40/357 firearms.

Springfield XD firearms, the 4" 40/357 to 9mm no problem no mag change needed.
The 5" need to change the spring to a 13# spring if going to shoot very light ammo. If shooting full power or mid range ammo usually no spring change required. No mag change required.

You cannot go up in caliber I.E. 9mm to 40 or 357 .

No conversion of this caliber on 1911 style firearms from 9/38super up to 40/357 or down from 40/10 to 9/38super.
