I'm looking for brass and bullets for 45/70.
So far I've come up with Budget Shooting Supplies(have an order in), Cabelas(ordered bullets once before, but they have no plain lead ones), TradeEx(has brass), and DoubleTap has brass.
Bullet Barn has both. Has anyone here dealt with them? I can't seem to figure out how to order online from them.
Thank-you.

Quite happy with my purchase from them. Check Budget Shooter as well for brass. Dealt with both and would recommend.

I used to deal with them a lot. I can definitely recommend them. Now I deal with Rust Wood Trading Company as they are a distributor for the Bullet Barn and also have a lot of other good stuff.

Chris.

I think X-reload would give you a better deal.

They're in Quebec. So they don't hit you as hard on shipping.

To answer the question, Bullet Barn has been good for me.

So has Rusty Wood, and so has Budget Shooter Supply.

But I think CrazyNut has it right; shipping lead from BC to Ontario might be a bit prohibitive.

Have you considered Higginson? They are at least in Ontario, somewhere.

Bullet Barn is great.
Budget Shooter supply is one of the very best here.
Rusty Wood, unfortunately have nothing good to say about peter, would avoid like the plague!

They are great. Nice people to deal with.

Go to their website and look for "order form".

Nice to find out about all the options open to me. I found that Budget Shooting supplies seems to have good prices, the items are in stock, and they give the final cost, including shipping.
Plus the order form is simple, but they don't take credit cards, which makes it less convenient. Thanks all, for the help and info.

Always good to me. Though about casting my own but dealing with such friendly coke and quality I just order a box of 1000 at a time.

I've bought powder and brass from bullet barn when when the former (win231) was in short supply here in Ontario and the unusual brass was only available from the US. I called in my order and the Woman ( sorry forgot her name ) was great, delivery fast!

Cast my own? Sounds like it would only lead to yet another of the shooting sports addictions I have. I already spend 10X the time at the reloading bench, compared to range time. But it is enjoyable.

I have ordered from The Bullet Barn before, quick, friendly service for me. After I placed my order, I was told that they were out of stock for the bullet I ordered, but would cast some more. I still had my order within a week.

Dealt with them several times.
Orders were delivered in a timely fashion, were complete and their products top quality.
No complaints whatsoever.
