Anyone Dealt with Bits of Pieces ?

I was thinking about sending my Norc 1911 to Bits of Pieces to get the bluing stripped off and have it Parkerized, as I like the look better and its a more durable finish. Anyone dealt with these guys before ? Do they do nice work ?

I haven't had any work done yet but am also considering using them for some work as ealy as next week. I'm also interested in what people have to say.

I had Barry, sandblast, parkerize and GunKote my Winchester M70 last year, excellent job and turn around time.

How is Barry's work for trigger jobs? I am thinking about getting my CZ SP-01 done.

He just finished my remington model 700 vsf. I got him to coat it I believe with Gun Coat product to match the stock. Turned out great! He is a bussy man. Took 7 weeks, but well worth every penny of his work! He treated me right, and I recommend/ vouch for him. WHEN I get my god damn badger rail in he is gona do that for me too and then out comes the digi, and you can see for yourself. Unless you shoot at burk I can take it up there some time I guess and work my .22lr out! I did my trigger, but he is a competent gun smith!

They had a 9.3x62 reamer andhead spaced my 98 ,forged the bolt and D&T rec for a leupold mount, did an EXCELLENT job, at a very reasonable price. Would recommend highly! jim

actually i did, like i've said, i was desperate to replace my ar10 barrel. no problem, barry made me one but i have to supply him my barrel extension. barry's bluing is fantastic, give him the job...........

They re-barrelled and re-finished a Norwegian Krag (left-hand thread) for me about a year ago. They did a beautiful job.

Thanks for all the replies guys, it sounds like Bits of Pieces is the way to go. Their prices sure seem reasonable as well.
