Anyone else ever want a PS90?

Although the cartridge is interesting, another one I'd like to see a supershort(like a big .22) bolt action made for, uses FN 5-7 magazines, 16" barrel, peep sights, forward base for optics.
Call it my fox gun.
Or a carbine base on it.

Sorry guys, just blowing steam out my port hole. They look like an ergonomic dream. I ADMIT TO PLAYING WITH ONE IN MY GOLDENEYE QUEST SEVERAL YEARS AGO, and it made me all fuzzy inside.

I'd only want the short barrel version. Though the expensive ammo is a big turn-off that's for sure. Not to mention the neutered 5/50 magazine which defeats the purpose of its design.

Now the MP5, on the other hand... DROOL

I wouldn't want the extended barrel version for the same reason: This is how it was meant to be. a factory restricted at a decent price I'd have a hard time not to get tho.

I have the 10.3" barrelled version. This is how it was meant to be. This is by far, the last firearm I would ever sell. It's only fault is the low availability of ammo. After trying the FN 5-7, and falling in love with it, I aborted buying it because it would take ammo away from my ps90.

I have replaced the Fastfire with a Trijicon RMR (no batteries required) and put a blackout flash hider on since I took this photo

They are a great gun. Well designed and shockingly reliable despite the complex magazine design.

As mentioned, the cartridge is pricey when available, and it can be hard to find. Expect to pay $0.50 per cartridge when they are available.

If you see the ammo, get a full case, because you may not see it for another year or two.

The PS90 is a lot of fun. Ammo is expensive and hard to find. That being said it has no recoil. Really easy to shoot. The ergos are excellent. Mag changes are the only slower part, but still pretty good. It's a neat firearm. My only complaint would be the sleeved barrel. I would rather have it solid. But... the barrels on the originals are FN 249 steel. Optics can be a challenge with the standard version. Although more expensive I would suggest the tri rail version.

Here's mine: It's restricted though.

By far, the worlds UGLIEST , And I mean, UGLIEST, PIG-OF-THE-PORT KIND OF UGLY, GUN ON EARTH

You say that as though ugly is a bad thing...

If ammo wasnt such a colossal PITA, I might be more interested.

Epoxy7, we have to get together for a photo session. Those pics dont do your collection justice.

You'd want to be reloading ammo, that's for sure.

Even that's not a great option. You can only reload the brass once, twice at most. There's some Belgian space aged super coating on the brass. I guess it wears off pretty much after the first shot, and inhibits feeding... And possibly safety.

Another CGN'r has got a live thread on it now.

The 5/50 mags are probably the saddest thing ever done to a firearm. (Hack saw Bubbas aside)

A NR rimfire version or conversion (even in .22lr) would cause a spike in Canada's economy.
