Anyone Else Getting Disgusted With Browning??

Was just cleaning my AB3 in 308, Walnut stock version. Can't really find fault with it...satin finish stock, matte finished metal, zero tool marks anywhere, smooth and easy to operate bolt, decent mags, few plastic bits but not enough to make me puke... factory bedded.
I was never a fan of the high gloss poly finish stocks, no matter who was making them. I do like high polish blued steel with a satin/oil finished stock so most of my "new guns" are older "used guns". I do like to try the new cheap stuff on occasion just to see how they make them and if they shoot. Don't usually hold onto them long.

I have owned quite a few Browning firearms over the years including a Safari grade rifle, A-bolts and the newer X-bolts. No problems and excellent quality. I also have had many of there shotguns, A 5’s, Maxus, Citoris etc. All well made guns with no complaints. I believe the OP was referring to there futureistic styling, which can get some getting used to. But the quality is there.
