Anyone else hate the sights on their Henry?

Hey all, just picked up a used Henry lever .22. I really like the rifle, very smooth. However the sights have to go. The front sight is plastic and integral of the front barrel band. Also, both front and rear together are way too large for a decent sight picture.

Does anyone else have this issue? Anyone succesfully find a solution?

I got a metal set from henry years ago but i think they stopped shipping them to Canada. You should call Western Gun Parts in edmonton, they may have a set.

Thx, I will do that. Also just found that Hi-viz now makes a front/rear replacement. But, the rear sight does not have an elevator...
