Anyone else have issues with Glock PMAGS?

Hey everybody,

Noticed on my most recent range trip that I was having a fair bit of FTFs, and I finally narrowed it down to my GL9/17 mags. It seems that on the 3rd or so round, the spring (or something) is preventing the round from being pushed up all the way. I got wondering if it's perhaps the way they're pinned to 10 but who knows. Anyone else have issues with these?

No issues here. The way it's pinned did bother me. So, I got rid of the pins and used magazine blocks instead. The springs work better and I can clean the magazines a lot better. I'd say it's your pins hanging up the spring.

Good suggestion. I tested mag function just now with a couple of different 9mm brands I had laying around. Seems like it only does it with Winchester Forged steel cased. Perhaps it's just that particular brand, as I've never had an issue with Barnaul.

I had a similar problem using ammo I made for my Glocks in my Grand Power 9mm. I am glad I may have helped as my Wife sometimes says I am not very helpful with the household chores. ;)
