We can shoot shags here! The best spot in NB is right in the middle of Reversing Falls in Saint John! I shot one there last year while on my way back from a failed striper fishing trip. There's hundreds to shoot at, but most guys with a power boat want nothing to do with cormorant hunting - and you don't want to be in that rapids without a power boat. It might be possible to get to the islands in slack tide with a kayak, but it would be risky.

Why would anyone hunt shags ? Anyone that would eat one of those would eat the a$$hole out of a skunk.

Nothing id reather do than hunt sea ducks, great fun, welll .... if you dont mind 80+km winds (more the better) and freezing salwater spray,

LOL You won't be out in a boat around here when it's blowing 80km/h....you must be in one hell of an outboard...or in a pond.
