Anyone Else Itching for Their New NEA-15?

I'd appreciate a range report because at the demo day these rifles had stoppages and mag loading problems for each of the 4 people in line ahead of me (I left after seeing that, so I didn't actually shoot one). If the range reports on the production guns are good, I might change my mind about buying one.

I was having the same problem. For some stupid reason IWC won't ship internationally so I had to do some digging. I found a place that sells ONLY the TMC mount from IWC. It mounts to the top or right side. Hope this helps, just type IWC into the search: http://www.mountsplus.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?

Great mount from what I've seen so far. No complaints. The sling adapter on the bottom is also IWC, not very low pro though.

thank you for the info!

Which demo day was that?

I saw the guns working just fine at the Kingston multigun match demo.

When I was at the Target Sports demo, fairly early, there were problems with some of the mags causing stoppages. I experiences one, but once the mag was swapped all was good.

How dare you!! The NEA-15 does not jam! Magazines suck or rounds are out of spec or shooter as bad karma. It's like saying Chuck Norris missed a target... ridiculous, he obviously spared it.

We had a couple issues at the Kingston demo day but it was the mag not the gun. There was a bad LAR mag. Once we swapped it out with another one there were no more issues.

It seemed the LAR mags were the issue at Target Sports as well.. truth be told, I've seen issues with LAR mags in almost every AR. It happens.

I would order one if it wasn't restricted.... stop posting these tempting gun posts otherwise I'm going to have to buy one myself with the the money I have saved up to pay for my internet for a year.........

If you don't see me post again you know why....

I wish I could have made it out to the demo day. I have been looking at an AR for a while and was going to pick up a Norinco but once I saw these, I am more than willing to pay a bit more for "Made in Canada". These look really nice.

Once I save up a bit more, I am looking at a 14.5" with the Vortex Strike Fire. Will these packages last for a while or are they only part of the launch specials? Also, dumb question but does the package come with a mount as well for the optic?

Anxious to hear a review. Have seen all the Youtube videos etc.

we're hoping the powers that be will allow us to import them down under meantime i shall continue to save up to snap one up as soon as it lands (until July AR15's had a starting price tag of NZ$4500 for a bushmaster)

I sent NEA a link to Gun ####ty's website when they told me they would be one of their import agents. They were shocked to say the least.

Ken from NZHUNTER.com is getting some NEA 15's in and is hoping to retail them for under 2K. I'm on the waiting list and hope to draw first blood in NZ with one of these soon. Really looking forward to it, I check my email like 10 times a day.

Mate, email him now and get on that list. Who knows how long it will take for the sample to be cleared by Police armoury. February or March is a realistic time for the first shipment anyway. Besides, there is so much interest that if you don't have the funds at the time, there will be someone else more than willing to take your place.

Are people excited about the NEA primarily just because it is cheap to buy? I don't see anything ground breaking about it or am I missing something?
