I always wear gloves when reloading. Nothing good can come from absorbing case lubricant, lead and other crap through your hands into your body. Any one who reloads a large volume should be doing the same thing.
I also dump my media into the separator outside so I don't get the dust all over my basement and ultimately track the dust all over my house.
Nitrile gloves for me!
Me too, especially when loading lead bullets.
With my loading technique, I only need nitrile gloves on the LEFT hand (as it's the hand that places the bullet) and I usually wear a Mechanix glove on the right hand (it pulls the lever).
The 3M 2091 P100 (HEPA) Filter is sold by the pair, and is among our most popular products. The reason is that the extremely fine filtration traps all but the most minuscule particles. So our customers use them to protect against asbestos and lead dusts in particular, as well as a host of other dusts, allergens and fumes.
You can't absorb elemental lead through your skin. It has to be breathed or ingested.
You had better be tumbling outside the house as well otherwise that nice vibrator is spreading lead dust all over your home.
