Man, my HP9 impresses me more every time I shoot it.... It's rock solid. Never gives me a single issue. I'm very impressed with my Norc .45 and even more impressed with my Norc HP9.
 
My norc 1911 is fantastic. I have never had any kinda issue with it with 3000 rounds in her. Same with the nroc m4 I use to have. Never had the hp9 but can assume it is reliable just as much if not more then next shotty

If you count Dominion Arms grizzly then yes. Mine has thousands of rounds through it and it has never had an issue. Accurate as any other shotgun at appropriate distances and runs like a whipped dog.

I also have 2 polytech m-305, a norc 1911 45 ACP and a Norc M4 and they are all really good value for the money and very reliable...heard way too many bad reveiws on the 780 Homeland...(JUNK)

I'm a huge 870 fan when it comes to pump shotguns and my favourite two are my Norc HP9-1 and parkerised 870 Wingmaster(which ironically it wearing a Mossberg barrel). I actually find the plastic on the Norc of higher quality than the standard plastics found on typical Rem 870(the non Speedfeed ones).
 
Bought an HP9 boxfed. I can't get pull the action completely to the rear (mag removed of course). It just jams with still 1 inch of the bolt visible in the ejection port.

Am I doing something wrong?
 
i love mine aswell, put a ton of bird shot through it today, had a great time exploding things. the only issues i had were it didnt want to fully eject some of the winchestor shells.
 
I played around with one yesterday and I'm actually really impressed with the quality. Appears to be very solid and the action is a helluva lot smoother out of the box than my mossberg was
 
I am nervous buying Norinco...i had the 780 Homeland Security Model and it was a piece of Garbage parts broke(Magazine tube broke off completely because of poor Soldering) it jammed all the time and it was just a horrible Gun... shouldn't even be on the Market IMHO but i haven't heard anything bad about the HP9's.

Just bought HP-9 today from SFRC; very impressed with shotgun and excellent knowledge and service from Ryan and his staff. Bought the 12 inch barrel with ghost ring sights. Like the feel of the shotgun just as she is. Finish and quality look excellent ...................now do I add anything or be happy with it as it is?

Is your shotgun a Dominion Arms or Norinco version? On the website it looks like a DA grizzly. What does the rollmark say on the left side of the receiver?

It's a Norinco product, same basic shotgun as DA Grizzly. Does not say Norinco anywhere on shotgun. Left side stamped CA, under CA in smaller font PD12SG. Box came marked HP-9, did not have Norinco on box either.
