Anyone ever fired the FS2000?

Isn't the mag release button in front of the mag housing? What's the pressure for a C7/Armalite.
Oops! Meant behind the GRIP, not the magwell!
Other issues include no bolt lock back on an empty mag....
AND, doing a chamber check in low light would be very difficult...you have to
lift the hinged port at the back of the barrel and peer in.....

Really....

Hasn't been an issue for me and mine:) Tell us more about your issues and personal experience with this Euorpean Rifle....

Supposedly you can remove the rubber 'ring' that grips the magazine so it will 'drop out' if you want; personally it doesn't bother me (and you are certainly less likely to accidentally drop the mag...). A chamber check in the dark isn't any more difficult for me than on my AR (other than that there is no hold open or other indication on empty of course - the one thing I do miss).

Question: how often do you shoot in low light, not being military, I just go home when I can't see the target! ( If you must shoot in really low light you just check your chamber with your finger, same as every other firearm no?)

To anyone here who has one of these rifles. Do you live anywhere near or in Ottawa? I wanna get my hands on one of these before I decide to hand out 2400 to 3100 bucks.
