I just thought that maybe some of you out there might have heard of this Brand. I just purchased a new Mossberg 4x4 from Pro Nature, and it came with a Buckner 3x9x40 scope. I myself have never heard if this brand, and after a bit of research I found that it is made by a company called NcStar. I can't seem to find any reviews on the Buckner brand, but there are favourable reviews on NcStar branded scopes. So I was just wondering if anyone here had anything to say about this scope, positive or negative. Surely somebody must have some knowledge about this brand!

I've never used them or even heard of Buckner scopes. They might be just fine, but it's never a good idea to go cheap on a scope.

Buy the best scopes you can and keep them when it comes time to sell the rifle. They will serve you well with little or no problems. DO NOT GO CHEAP! A bad scope is never good during your week off deer hunting. Been there, done that. Most of my scopes now are Leupolds with a few other decent ones kicking around.

I definitely would not have purchased it on its own. Since it came as a package, ill give it a try. It seems to have better clarity and quicker target acquisition than my Bushnell Elite 3200, but time will tell.
