anyone ever heard of NCstar optics

not to make it sound any worse but i use the nc stuff on my paintball markers....you can find nc on almost any paintball site, but each to his own. if it works for you and not someone else, they can find somethin else

Take a chance. I have purchased 3 scope all for using on SKS's. All still going strong. If they do pack it in their warranty is great,send it back and they send you a new one.

Save your money and buy good optics the first time around. Bushnell Elite 3200 seems a good starting point that sells all the time on the board here.

The little single-plane red-dots are junk. My friend got one and put it on his BRS99 and it fell apart in like 20 or 30 rounds....

Another buddy has the same one on his Ruger 10/22 and it works fine... One of the little multi-retical red/green style ones....


NCStar scope the same quality as a bushnell 3200? I don't think so.... Might work though, sometimes the clones are hit or miss.

But I would say save up for a little longer and get a better scope!

NC Star

I have a NCStar 6-24X50 on a Mossberg 4X4 in 300 Win Mag. About 300 rounds later it is still fine. Very clear, holds zero. No complaints. I'm ordering another model for my 22. It seems either you get a great one or crap. Apparently, however, their service is out of this world, and they'll repair or replace anything with a problem.

First scope I ever bought was a 4x30mm Ncstar scope......I still have in the basement.

I cant seem to give it away and Id never accept money for it.

Their compact scopes with the quick release mount in 3x or 4x are a good deal and mine are going strong on my Storm and M4.
