Anyone ever improved the Savage Accutrigger ?

I just looked at the 'installation instructions ' for the basix and it looks like there's a 'sear adj screw' on the forward tip of the trigger bar. If you put the adj screw there instead of on the sear, you could make it adjustable w/o dis-assy. My B22 required dis-assy to adjust the T-spring but the A22 has a hole thru the t-guard. So I just made a new hole in the B22 guard and now don't have to 'dis' all the time, can go up for field and down for range.
As I said, I don't plan to do that for my sear, but it's just a thought.

Just wanted to add a note here - RE my A & B22 triggers. I've done the 'Heated spring' on both and the B22 is down to 1.4# after polishing the he-- out of it internally. The A22 remained about 2.5# but a friend in the USA sent me a couple Varmint springs from Gunshack (total for 2 = $32 CDN w/shipping) and I put one in the A22. It's now at 1.9# and that's waayy better than the 4.5+ it started out at, and I can adjust it Heavier as the "V" is about 3 coils longer than the OEM. The B22 I'm NOT changing Springs so far - 1.4# is good enough.

No different then installing a rifle basix trigger, they don't have the blade...
 
On RFC many Savage rimfire shooters report using the Apachee trigger kit. It reduces the pull weight.

I just found a YT vid of the Basix into an 'older' MKII w/o Safety blade. Shows 18 oz after install and the groups MIN is 0.72" ! This may just be a Problem with the rifle but my B22 is down to 1.4# = 22 oz and my MIN is 0.3" so far ... , With the Safety Blade still installed. For JUST polish and 'heated T-spring' - NO $$ cost.

Like I said, I had both in the past.

RB is nice.

Apache really reduce weight of pull but if your trigger have creep, it won't solve this problem.

WHEN I will have some spare time to drill and tap my trigger and add an adjustment screw, it should be pretty much as good as the RB.
