I am setting up to make some sizing dies on the Lee pattern so I can size to about .313". Anyone else ever done this?

There's nothing to it, other than keeping close tolerances and polishing really, really well. The push-through plug should likely be about .003" smaller than the hole in the sizing die (at its smallest portion). You will also need to put an extremely small taper on the bottom end of the sizing die - the ultimate size of the widest portion will be determined by what diameter the pre-sized bullets will be at the largest. If you have an actual lube/sizer such as a Lyman or RCBS, you could always just go to Buffaloarms.com and order one of their sizers, as they have your .313 in stock, and that may take care of this whole issue with ease and style.

Which cartridge? If you just want .308 or .303 to have a .313 neck you can get a custom or swap out another expander.
