anyone export colt canada to USA?

howdy

was trying to see if anyone has successfully imported a colt canda IUR to USA... reading al flahertys reddit thread they got denied sending colt canada because bayonet lug, collapsing stock and muzzlebrake...

If i were to swap to non-collapsing stock(fixed), and weld on a thread protector to keep 16" OAL, pretty sure it does not have a bayo lug

922r compliance is tricky. I have not heard of anyone being successful with any Colt Canada rifle. The IURs you do see in the US were... snuck in and in parts. If you are going to be wrecking the original barrel with welding you might as well replace it for the import. Good luck!

I did send a few to Switzerland and Czech Republic successfully though.
