Anyone familiar with Lakefield Mark III Autoloader?

Anyone know these? I have one that I got off a friend. Kind of looks like a Mark II and a 64 had a love child. Cylindrical receiver like the Mark II and looks like Mark II magazines as well but it’s semi-auto.

Only reason I ask is it looks like the ejector broke at one point and it was replaced by a piece of plastic cut out of a margarine tub lid. It may work fine, haven’t even tried to shoot it but I’d like to replace it with a proper part if at all possible. Cannot find this thing listed on any of parts supplier sites. About the only mention on the net is the occasional one that was up for sale.

Don't spend too much time and effort on that one, they're gawd awful. Normal wear parts are difficult to source.

Good to know. I’ll put it back together and put some rounds through it. If it works, great, if not, we’ll I don’t really have anything invested in it so no big deal.

Unfortunately, I have to say yes to that question. AND once was more than enough! A friend who once had a store in the Interlake said he was told by the company that when he had one come in for warranty work he was to just hand them a brand new Model 64 and trash the Mk111 - not even considered worth shipping back to the factory!
