I have seen the Pedersoli lever guns on line and in store at Basspro / Cabela's. They seem like nice rifles but I have never heard of the brand before, maybe I live under a rock. I was looking at the Pedersoli Boarbuster Shadow, but I'm not sure how I feel about the rear site being mounted on the top of the bolt?
Any one here have one or have any experience with one?

I had a Perersoli shotgun. It was well put together with nice fit and finish. I would buy another

I have a Pedersoli Double rifle. Fit ,finish, and function are great. Also i wanted a double sight to sight in for each barrel. Replacement parts are available. I have looked at the Boarbuster to buy, but already have a Marlin.

The Pedersoli Boarbuster Shadow is on sale at Cabelas for their 1 day Wild Wednesday sale & free shipping with the code...

What can say about the Boarbuster Shadow? Well, the action is smooth & the rear peep / ghost ring being on top of the bolt doesn't have any wiggle. The barrel is also tapped for the Lever Action Boarbuster Weaver and Picatinny rail base available on Davide Pedersoli's website in the accessory section. This is the route I'm going, with a red dot, or more likely a scout scope and a Wild Wild Dill leather buttstock shell holder with suede 8mm cheek piece riser.

The synthetic stock is functional & durable but nothing to write home about. In fact, the stock to metal fitment could be nicer. I don't like that it has a tang safety, but you can flick it off & leave it off, plus the rifle has a half #### safety which is what we are all used to with a lever. (I guess the tang safety is a European hunting requirement, from what I've seen online.)

All in all, I think it's a nice rifle, especially at the sale price.

Cheers
Jay

I have the hunter light, absolutely beautiful. Fit and finish is very good, the action is very smooth. Smoother than the Browning ‘71 that sits beside it.
