Varmint control program in Texas. Program is to eliminate hog population in order to stop devastation being caused to peanut crops.

PETA would love this.

Im starting to think ur a member of peta. but yes that is a brutal video. This is why heli hunting is so illegal in Canada. Bad shot placement ect. not humane at all.

That's a strange insulting comment! Why the hell would you think I'm a member of PETA??

Check my profile...unlike you I don't mind disclosing what I'm about.

I have a buddy living 20 min from the Mexican border in Texas, he says they are inundated with them things as well as Javelina. Probably not legal there to shoot them from a chopper either( maybe?) but from the amount of destruction they do to native habitat and ranchers crops I dont blame them for resorting to these kinds of measures.

(Should be needless) Disclaimer: I am in no way comparing any of the combatants/folks involved in Vietnam to pigs.....

You're right. I should have titled it "Pig Control" :)

No biggie and me forgetting to put in the ;) makes me sound like a weiner anyways. Everyone says how pest control stuff (like the video) looks like great fun but it takes a certain mindset to keep going all day every day until you have eradicated the last individual. Not hunting by any stretch!

I sure wouldn't call it hunting, but that would be fun as hell. They should start selling helicopter pig shoots. I sure would lay some money down for a couple hours of pig shooting.

For helicopter pig shoot I would prefer this:
