Hi.
Anyone getting ready for coyotes?
im considering trying it. And since it would be the first time for me i was wondering if I can join someone that has a bit of experience at it.
Im located just north of the GTA. There are a few properties I hunt which I have heard coyotes at when I was hunting for deer. Some of the properties are a bit out east as well.

I would be glad if I would be able to go with some one that knows how to get these buggers.
PM me if interested.

Thanks

Cool man, wish I could join you. Been out today, totally froze since I wasn’t smart enough. I put on my worm cloths and than started walking to my spot, eventually when i got there I was all sweaty and I started to freeze. I should of taken the cloths with me in my backpack. Oh well , I had to learn the hard way.

Good luck on site 10.
Will you be up there on the weekend as well?

I hope I don't hijack this by asking this but, does anyone from NB know if the yote hunting is good around the Fredericton area? I also have good access up around the Florenceville and Perth Andover areas. I've never hunted coyotes before and would love to give it a go.

Thanks!

Matthew

From what I undersatnd Coyotes are everywhere in NB. I hunt Sussex area and hear them about every other evening.

Get a good call, electronic with a remote is awesome as you can place the call away from you. mouth calls work too.
Hunt a cross wind as Coyotes always travel into the wind to smell ahead of
them.
Here on PEI we are limited but if you can find an area with about a km of visibility, then you can see the little #### coming. Get yourself positioned in a shadow somehwere and start the call. call for a minute or two and stop, wait a minute or two and so on. Go on calm days and the call will travel for miles.

Good luck!
