Some of the world's 'best pistols' are CZ copies(...look at all the hardcore IPSC guys). Having said that, there are many and they are hardly 'new,' and Armalite acts as the distributor of this one.
 
I was looking at the article in Combat Handgun, a nice pistol and a good starter for Armalite to get into the pistol market. I do like how the raised the back of the slide to allow the user to get a better grip, this has been my main issue with CZ's and their clones.

And a very valid argument it is.

Have to say I'm getting really bored with the latest AR-15/1911/CZ/plastic-framed gun of the month.

I might even have to buy a revolver if this keeps up.
 
I shot one of these earlier this year in the US, it is very much like a CZ, but it does look more like a Bren Ten. The one I shot had the slide Teflon Coated Black and the Frame Hard chromed, it was a good looking gun and it shot very well.
 
This is basically the same gun as Tanfoglio, Bay Eagle, Bul Storm and various other CZ-75 clones, except it's cobbled together in Turkey by a guy named Ahmed when he manages to take a break from beating his three wives...Okay, bad joke, I know, but in all seriousness, when was the last time anything good came out of Turkey (with the exception of their rugs)? This gun's country of origin would certainly make think twice, especially when you can get a nearly identical Italian or Israeli made gun, and for roughly the same money too.
 
The quality of Turkish weapons has never been questioned but I do question paying a premium for a clone. The AR24 costs more than a CZ; ergo, unless I wanted something different, I would stick with the real deal. Regards, Richard:)

You'd probably be scared absolutely sh*tless to find out that a huge number of critical vehicle parts (ball joints and tie rod ends to name two) come from Turkey.
