I've got a 1914 Colt 1911 in need of correct walnut double diamond grips and a correct U notch rear sight blade, any ideas? Want to get this old girl back to how she should look. Ideally, I could get a replacement part rear sight off Colt's WWI repro run, but I'm not holding my breath, I bet replacement parts weren't even considered. For the grips, would be great if I could find that set of double diamond walnut grips, original, that somebody has in a shoebox somewhere... again though... tough.
