Anyone got experience with a SA NM M1A...

Just finished grease out the NM M1A, did follow on Youtube, it is quite slick now, a big difference in smoothnest of operation... JP.

Did you remove it from its stock to lube it?
I'm just paranoid due to the bedding of the rifle.
SA says to avoid removing it from the stock unless necessary.
I'm dying to strip it and it's driving me crazy.

Yes i did, there is nothing to it except it is very thight, i imagine that why those rifles win matchs, did take off 2 times, but i agree the first time is nerves wrecking, everything is so strait and beefy the op rod spring guide is thick like a 8 inch nail in size the united gaz system is like a car shock absorber...
Not to compare with my 305 ( mine was accurate and reliable) but this one is really in the major league, it does wear well it's name National Match...
Go for it and follow the booklet to strip it, then when it is all greased up it purr like a kitty as the tolerances a so thight... This is as go as it get... I think... JP.

Yesterday was sent by a friend a Youtube video made by Nutfancy on the M-14, he sure like the M-14... Great video that make you realize that the M1A is one of the best rifle you can own and shoot... JP.
