anyone got their boxing day orders shipped yet?

Well I still haven't received the email saying it shipped. Sent and email to Canada Ammo and received a quick reply from Daniel. It was shipped on the 4th and due on Monday. Now I have to cross my fingers and hope Canpar gets it right!
 
Here I sit....off most of last week with no new AR to play with... I've called CanPar about 6 times and at this point I believe it's lost. 2/3 of my shipment came about a week ago...my tracking on my upper hasn't moved in 12 days and is long since over due. The other parts of the shipment were delivered and no one at CanPar can locate the last package of that shipment. I'm kinda bummed. I was so excited about this new 7.62 upper. :( Saved up, waited till 12:01, bought it, tracked it a billion times a day like a little kit...and they lost it. They good news is the one I ordered is still in stock so CanPar may be buying me a second which I hope they ship through Canada Post....

Thanks for the response Ryan, I sent him an email now. Hopefully I can get a replacement while they're in stock! But send it via carrier pigeon not CanPar, it would be more reliable. How are they in business still?!
 
Similar experience as some others on here..CanPar tracking number shows as item has left Vancouver terminal..no updates since then..checked it this am at 9 AM thinking it should have been scanned into Edmonton terminal by Monday AM...nope..left house for half an hr ..come back and theres a Canpar delivery notice on the door saying attempted delivery..I log onto see tracking number...

I am amazed at how these guys can keep track of the parcels...how does a package get from Vancouver Depot directly to my doorstep without being scanned in at a terminal.
every carrier I've worked for has had a requirement that a parcel be scanned in to keep a tracking record of it..apparently these guys dont have to follow that protocol..seems kinda risky to be considered that ammo and firearms are being shipped thru them..

I am in no way complaining about Canada Ammo in this post...but I am putting the info out there for them to consider..CanPar needs some competition to get them to clean up their act

Its probably not lost...Canpar justs sucks at keeping things updated..see Post #47 if you dont believe me
 
Unfortunately, I don't know what the options are...Canada post won't ship ammo, and I'm assuming UPS is way more expensive. Unfortunately since they've delivered 2/3 of my shipment it's pretty unlikely that they know where the last piece is if they haven't delivered it a week later. Sounds like they'll ship me a replacement once they make a claim against CanPar.
 
Mine says "with courier", no location. Supposed to be here by end of day. Not looking good for Canpar right now. My luck, they'll show up tomorrow when I go to drop my kids of at school.
 
Thankfully, I'm dealing with a highly reputable company like Canada Ammo, and their customer service is top notch. They just contacted me and told me if its not found in a day or so they'll send another one through another courier. :)
 
No issues with CANAM at all. Amazing price, great service, good communication. IMO, the weakest link would be Canpar.

Transfer approved on Jan. 5 (email)
Shipped Jan. 7 (email)
Received on Jan 8. (Canpar website was showing picked up from customer on Jan. 7 when the delivery guy showed up at my door on Jan. 8 with my AR).
 
10 days late, canada ammo was about to ship out the replacement this morning which must have lit a fire under those incompetent monkeys, it just got delivered. Still never had 4 of my calls returned from "customer service". The redeeming value here is that Canada ammo was so great at communicating and working with me. I'll pay extra next time to have my parts shipped through someone else and get the ammo whenever CanPar decides to deliver it.
 
Just got my order from the ammosource today. From past experience all the retailers get overloaded with orders when there's a good sale. No biggie.
