Anyone had experience with the Zev Ultimate kit?

I bought mine from discount last year and finally got time to put the whole thing ( whole trigger drop in, safety plunger, 2lb spring + skeleton firing pin etc etc) into my Glock17 Gen4. I haven't got a chance to do a live fire test yet. With a search online I found some people have issues with it like light primer strike and fail to reset etc. I am using CCI Blazer Brass 115gr. I tested with dry firing reset test and test fire with laser ammo to ensure functioning. I left the pre-travel and etc factory setting untouched. Anything else I can check before I put a live round in it? How is your experience? Did you encountered any issue? Did you manage to solve those issues? The trigger feel is extremely good! Trigger safety is very sharp and stands out unlike the OEM one.

I had reset problems with mine. It intermittently would chamber, but not allow the trigger to reset after a round. I shipped my trigger assembly, extractor, etc to Black Box customs, and they found that there wasn't physically enough material on the trigger bar assembly to allow the trigger to reset properly. I sent it back to Zev Tech and they sent me a new one. I've yet to test it.

Put the Zev Ultimate Kit into my G17 Gen 3 and had the same type of reset problems described by jory above. Was able to recreate the problem at home on the bench and it appeared that the striker was getting stuck in the channel. Took the back plate off and cleaned the channel thoroughly and was no longer able to recreate the problem on the bench. Haven't been back to the range yet to see if the problem is solved or not.

Other than that, love the actual trigger. Great, solid feel to it. The nice wide face on the trigger makes it easy to keep a smooth and consistent pull.

I installed the ultimate kit in my G34. I did no adjustments. Zero issues.

Just came back from DVC this morning tested with 100 rds so far no issue at all. There was a fail to open on last round and I thought it was an issue. Turned out that it was always the same mag and didn't happen to other mag so it might be a mag issue. Still too early to jump to conclusion but so far so good. I should bring more ammo next time.... This trigger is so good!!! If it has no problem it is definitely a keeper!
